My bird is flapping wings and chirping loudly. Is it sick or stressed?

She looks to be thin in the photos - the way we look at body condition in a bird is by the breast, and I can see that her keel bone appears to be more prominent in the photos. This, along with the abnormal vocalizations that you are hearing, may indicate that she is sick. I would ensure that her environment is free of stress due to her having her chicks, as an increase in stress can lead to illness. If she is stressed, she may also not eat as much food as she needs as well. I would recommend that she is evaluated by a veterinarian, if possible - depending on what they find on examination, they may recommend diagnostic testing such as radiographs or systemic blood work. If Floki is otherwise happy, active, eating and drinking, and growing, I wouldn't be too concerned. Birds are very active and lively, and it could be that Floki is showing you his excitement. Spending some time together bonding, or offering a fun toy he can play with may help. If he does show any signs of illness with this, becomes listless, or otherwise seems very stressed out, a vet visit to rule out any health issues is always a good idea.

It's possible something may have startled your bird and is causing the wary behavior you are seeing, however if she is puffed up or refusing to eat/drink then that can indicate a potential illness. If you see other signs such as changes to the stool, or listless behavior those can also indicate illness and should be checked out by a vet.
