Oh no, poor Ollie. The swollen face could be from an accident, getting into something toxic, a fight, or an allergic reaction. I cannot say what is causing his symptoms without seeing him in person, but I can say for sure he needs to see a vet now to diagnose what is causing it. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. This is an emergency. Your kitty could have a severe allergic reaction, or a snake bite or serious injury (maybe because of a collision with a car). He needs to be seen by a veterinarian right away. Please take him to a PetEr right now as this sounds life-threatening.

His eye does look swollen! He could have injured his eye or he could have an eye infection. The eye is such an important and delicate structure that any problem with it should be considered an emergency. That's because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I would take him into a vet immediately to diagnose what is causing his eye to be swollen so it can be treated.

This may be the start of an upper respiratory disease. They usually do have a fever and swollen lymph nodes (possibly causing the face to swell) early in the infection, which will make them feel bad. They also tend to avoid eating and drinking early in the infection. It appears that both sides of Blue's face are swollen, but if it happens that only one side is swollen, then this can indicate a local infection/abscess. This can happen with bite wounds, other puncture wounds, or dental disease. I wouldn't be too concerned about this being an emergency, but it's best if you can get Blue to a vet within the next day or two. While these infections are often mild, they can become complicated, which will make things much worse. The vet would be able to narrow-down the cause of this and prescribe the necessary treatment to make him feel better and keep the infection from getting worse. Poor Mara! It could be she was injured while you were gone, she could be experiencing an allergic reaction, or she could have a dental problem. In the second picture, it looks like there is a cloudiness in her left eye. That has to be checked out by a vet if it hasn't already. Get her into a vet as soon as possible. Best of luck.

Ouch! Poor Isaac! I'm glad he seems fine (by this I assume you mean he is still playful, eating/drinking, and having his normal personality). If he had a brain injury, or concussion, he would likely be acting really ill and lethargic. Still, the swollen face is a concern. He may need some help, likely is painful. Would you be able to have him checked out by his vet today, to see what may need to be done to help his swollen face?

Swelling like you are describing can be due to a variety of reasons, including infection (such as an abscess), a problem with a tooth, a growth, or an allergic reaction, among others. I would recommend having him evaluated by a veterinarian, as medications (such as an antibiotic or an anti-inflammatory) or even a dental procedure may be necessary to help resolve it. Good luck!

I am sorry to hear about this kitty! I would be concerned he could have an abscess https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951328 caused from a bite from another animal or possibly an infected tooth. Unfortunately this isn't something you can treat at home and he needs a veterinary examination. The abscess may need to be opened/drained and he may need medications to help treat it and make him comfortable. If you are unable to take on his care perhaps animal control or the humane society in your area would be able to help.

Facial swelling can be caused by an allergic reaction to something such as an insect sting or spider bite, an abscess from an injury, or even an abscessed tooth (unlikely in such a young cat). Your vet is going to have to sedate/anesthetize him so they can get a good look inside his mouth. He may need x-rays of his skull/mouth. There is only so much the vet tell by looking at the mouth/teeth of an awake cat. That would be the next step. This is not normal.
