Why is my dog sick, throwing up, and acting odd after eating wood?

My dog has been throwing up and is acting odd. Yesterday he was hyper and playful but then he started throwing up about every hour. He isn’t himself and woke up still the same just no more vomiting all he wants to do is sleep he tried a new food yesterday and I’ve caught him chewing on pieces of wood but that’s all that has changed. He also has his parvo shot up to date so what else could it be? Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 15 lbs
