My male cat roams and hasn't come home. Is he mating? Will he return?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 11 months and 17 days old

my pet is a male cat he is one year old and the thing is that he always go out of our garden and hang out for few hours outside and then return but before yesterday he went and did not came back yet,so why he woud do that we treat him very well we feed him he is happy with us,is it for the mating and stuff or what?and would he return back????

If Billy is not neutered yet, he is now old enough to be interested in mating females. This also makes him more prone to fighting with other male cats and may cause him to roam more. This roaming and fighting can lead to injuries from cars or other animals, FIV infections (which suppressed the immune system) and abscesses. Neutering him can help to decrease these behaviors which may end up saving his life. I recommend you speak with your veterinarian about the procedure.
