Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | unneutered | 11 years and 4 months old | 11 lbs
My Pomeranian is 11 yrs old and suffers from irritable bowel, seizures, and constipation. He is on a limited ingredient lamb and brown rice diet. He takes phenobarb bid and Metamucil bid, 2 hrs post phenobarb. The Metamucil is the kind with real sugar not artificial sweeteners, but it does have orange flavor. Lately he has been regurgitating small amounts of mostly clear liquid out his nose. I am not sure what is causing this. His appetite is great and he seems fine otherwise.

I would try to switch him to the plain Metamucil without the citrus flavor. Most dogs do better with the plain type. The regurgitation could be completely unrelated to everything else that he has going on. It could have a little bit of acid reflux causing him to regurgitate some bile. I would talk to your vet about this symptom to see if they want to do an exam on him. They may be able to give you a Pepcid or some other type of antacid dose over the phone dependent on his medical history and what would be safe for him. I hope this helps and he starts to feel better!
