Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | neutered | 7 years and 5 months old | 12 lbs
I switched my cats food about 4 weeks ago along with implementing a 2x a day feeding regiment vs. the grazing he has been used to. A few days ago I noticed him peeing a lot more than usual. I keep taking a look after he goes and it is like a small dime sized spot in the litter. I started giving him wet food once a day as of yesterday to see if maybe this new food was not giving him the moisture he was used to in his diet. Could this food be doing this to him?

It's theoretically possible that the stress of switching foods could cause this if he has a condition called Idiopathic Cystitis. But that's quite the stretch if he's never had any urinary problems before at his age. I'd put my money on this being unrelated and take him in for a check up and urinalysis and x-rays of his bladder. I hope he's feeling better soon!
