Hi, I came across a bird, which was being attacked by a cat. I took it home and provided it with food and water. It’s wing seems to be hurt. And I was wondering if I should be concerned about bacterial infections or diseases.

Absolutely yes, infections are a concern and immediate antibiotic treatment needs to be started. I would strongly recommend to take him to your local vet to have it prescribed and have the fracture assessed.
