My cat has eye drainage and ear wax. What should I do to help her now?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 2 months old | 7 lbs

My tabby has eye drainage and ear wax, is the anything that I should or can do to eliminate her issues? She was purchased from Petsmart with proof of vet treatment, shots, immunizations, etc. I'm including a pic to show the extent of her issues. I snapped a shot of her snuggled up under my blanket with me and it emphasized her issues.

Kiki will need to see a vet this week for those problems The excess ear wax can be a sign of an ear infection, and the eye discharge can be a sign of an eye infection. Both of these require medications from the vet to treat, so please take her into one. Best of luck.
