Why does my 6-month-old puppy chew and eat everything he sees?

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | 6 months and 9 days old

He's 6 mos. how come he eats everything he sees? whether it is plastic, cards and whatsoever. I am having a hard time on letting him play by his own.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Chicago. Puppies start teething around 4 months of age and this continues until they are about 7-8 months of age. So a lot of his chewing is most likely related to teething. You will need to keep things picked up and only allow him access to safe toys. The urge to chew should decrease over the next few months.
