Pet's info: Cat | American Bobtail Shorthair | Female | 1 year and 2 months old | 19 lbs
My cat has been pregnant for a while now. Hrr belly is very big and shr has been eating a lot lately. Today she started purring and hiding under my pillows and blankets. She was even purring when she ate. I can also feel her babies kick and heartbeats. Today, I noticed some pink discharge and an extra rectangular shape popping out of her large stomach. She seems to have all the symptoms of prelabor but shouldn't she not have an appetite?

It depends on how close to labor she is. Some pets may not stop eating until right before actual labor, while some may stop eating and lose appetite about a day or so before. Making sure she has a nest box to have her babies and keeping an eye on her for additional signs of labor such as visible contractions and pushing is best. If she continues to have discharge without going into labor, or is in labor for several hours without producing a kitten, seeking veterinary care ASAP is best to make sure there isn't an underlying problem or stuck kitten.
