Why dog had puppies 6 weeks ago a d to we just noticed a build up of dark blood around her private area, is this normal? There does not seem to be any smell but she did have complications not delivering 2-3 placentas while giving birth. Could that also cause a problem? She has been way more active and even starting to play outside with our other dog like she use to. What could this be? Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 60 lbs

This is not normal. Blood around the vulva can be a sign of a urinary tract infection or a uterine infection or hemorrhage. I recommend you make an appointment with your veterinarian for an exam so the cause for this can be established and treated.
