Hi. Was walking my cocker spaniel and he collided with a Labrador he fell over backwards. He walked a little way then fell over and could not walk. I lifted him up again he fell over. I placed him in my lap then I think he had a little fit. I called him and massaged all around his back legs and back. His legs felt ok he was pulling them out of my hand. After about 10minutes I tried to stand him and he was fine and walked fine. He was dribbling a lot. Any ideas what this was.thanks

I'm concerned that Gilby's issue may be more related to a possible heart condition or other health problem rather than being caused by the collision with the lab. It sounds like he may have been having a series of syncopal episodes. Its also possible that this was seizure activity that you were seeing. Take Gilby to your vet to be evaluated. If he's still doing fine its not super urgent.... you don't need to rush to an ER... however, make an appointment if at all possible in the next couple of days. Thanks for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
