Dog has a sore below ear with discharge after ear infection. Related?

My dog recently was treated for an ear infection with clamo. A few days ago a noticed a sore located below the ear that was infected that has red and brown discharge and has an odor. Do you have any ideas on what it could be and is it related to the ear infection 2 weeks ago. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 4 years and 9 months old

This could indeed be still part of the ear infection , or an abscess from scratching or even an ingrown strand of hair (sometimes they grow upside down into the head) that is getting infected. It would be best to take Chance back to your vet for a recheck of his ear as well as an exam of the smelly lesion.
