Why is my dog vomiting and lethargic after coming home from boarding?

We picked our dog up yesterday from where she was boarded and she seemed fine. Within hours of getting her she seemed tired and sad (not her usual self), then she started vomiting. Today she hardly wants to get up and seems VERY lethargic. Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | 7 months and 26 days old

I am so sorry to hear that Pepper isn’t feeling well. Boarding can be very stressful for dogs and sometimes they can develop stress colitis which can become very serious very quickly. Is she having any diarrhea? Other possibilities include Addison’s disease, intestinal foreign object/ obstruction, or even a viral disease. I would highly encourage you to have her evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. IV fluids may be recommended in addition to x-rays and possibly blood work.
