My senior cat fell, limping but acting normal. What should I do?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 6.6 lbs

My 16yr old cat fell off the sofa. He's let me touch all of his leg and back without reactions to it but he is limping and unsteady on his back leg. He curls up on my lap as normal, could it just be bruising like we get?

Hi, I would start with monitoring him for the next 24 hours, limit his exercise and movement, keep him indoor and watch if with extra rest there is improvement. If NO improvement still unsteady and lameness persist then take him to the vet for support such as pain relief and investigation. Hope it helps and Bob will feel better soon.
