I’ve recently learned that I’ve been feeding Toki to much and that is why he is overweight. I’ve been feeding the recommended amount of food for his weight, 3.5 oz of wet food in the morning and 1/4 of food in the evening. He looks at me like he’s so hungry still and I feel so guilty. He keeps walking to his empty bowl and back to me over and over. Am I being to sensitive? Or should I be giving him more? He’s 15 lbs chihuahua schnauzer mix

Toki is used to getting extra food, so of course he's hungry when he's getting the correct amount of food. It's good for him to lose weight and not be overweight; being overweight leads to additional health problems. Don't feel guilty, you are doing the best thing for him!
