My puppy has patchy skin & suspected demodex. Home remedies aren't working.

I've got a 5mo old lab/Pitt who started getting patchy after treating his earmites. He's been bathing every other day in a borax/peroxide solution, getting coconut oil rub down daily, and been on 3000mg fish oil vitamins daily. Is there anything else we can do for him, it doesn't seem to be helping or stopping? We are sure it's demodex but since he returns to the vet soon for his next shots we've been trying to handle it ourselves.

It probably is demodectic mange. I suggest you talk to your vet about putting him on Nexgard or Bravecto. Both are oral flea tablets that coincidentally also treat demodex. Easy to do and relatively inexpensive. They are prescription drugs though so you need to get them from your vet. So much easier than all the things you are doing and it works better. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
