My female dog has red discharge and stomach cramps. Is it heat?

My f female dog that has had stomach issues in the past, started 3 days ago with a light red discharge and every once in a while will do stretches like her stomach's cramping. It's on a continuous thing she hasn't been throwing up her stool is been okay if she just on her menstrual cycle? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 8 months old | 45 lbs

If her vulva is swollen, then yes this is likely her menstrual cycle. However, if you are not seeing any swollen vulva or if this is not her typical time to go into heat, then you should get her checked by your vet soon to ensure everything is ok with her.
