Dog on thyroid medication peeing more than usual. Is it normal?

Pet's info: Dog | American Bully | Female | spayed | 3 years and 9 months old | 86 lbs

Hello I have 86lb pitbull she is almost 4 yrs old about 3-4 mo ago I took her to the vet because I found blood in her urine the vet did blood work and she said she has and over actic thyroid and prescribed thyro-tabs 0.7mg shes always drank a lot of water and had to go out to pee about 5-10 later she is peeing more now is that normal

I would recommend rechecking Reba's thyroid level about 4-6 hours after you give the pill. I would also check a urine sample at the same time to check for a urinary tract infection. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
