Is it safe for my large dog to walk stairs after spay surgery?

I am getting my rottweiller spayed tomorrow. I live in a flat so need to go upstairs from front door. Will she be ok to walk upstairs after op? She is 48 kilos so I am unable to carry her. Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 3 months old

While I typically do recommend avoiding stairs, when it is not possible I have people use a leash on stairs to make sure the dog goes slow and does not cause too much stress on the incision. Double check with your vet to make sure that will be okay.
