My 15-year-old pug has diarrhea; rice/ProPectalin not helping.

My dog has had loose stools for about 2 days now I’m been feeding him just white rice and chicken broth for right now he’s a 15 year old male fawn pug I’ve been giving him Vetoquinol ProPectalin AntiDiarrheal Gel for Dogs Cats (30 cc). Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | neutered | 32 lbs

Hi, The product mentioned above is a supplement used in dogs to help with resolving diarrhea so used quite frequently and recommended by many vets as part of the treatment for diarrhea. Bur if the dog has diarrhea for 2 days on a blend diet during this time still no improvement he may need more support than offered till now. I would recommend to take him to a vet, the vet may offer more support in the form of anti parasitic, antibiotics etc.
