My dog's paw is swollen, painful, and he can't walk. What's wrong?

Hi! Pls help me idk what happened to my dog, his paw suddenly got swollen and i guess it really hurts because my dog can't step using it. It's been 3 days but today it got bigger so i am really concerned. There are no open vet clinic near us and there is a storm. Can someone help me ,i need to do smth or if you could just identify what happened to my dog. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 4 years and 3 months old | 150 lbs

Hi. Unfortunately without seeing him it is impossible to say what happened to him. If it has been swollen and is painful for 3 days, he needs to be seen asap. He most likely has some kind of severe injury. He needs an exam, xrays, and pain medications. There are no safe human pain medications. It has to be prescribed by your veterinarian.
