Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Panting can be due to pain, anxiety, fever, respiratory troubles, etc. Warm can be due to pain, anxiety, fever, and other conditions. If Bear is not eating, drinking, or is just lying there panting, or having vomiting, diarrhea, or seems painful, then I would get him to a vet. Other conditions include heart failure, blood clots, etc. As you can see there are many causes of panting and being warm. If Bear is acting abnormal in any other way get him to the vet right away. Otherwise you can monitor but if the panting is abnormal for his behaviour and continues for the next 30min or so I would take him to a vet. Best of luck with Bear!
