You can try giving Max canned food (it has a high moisture content), or you can add water to his dry food to get him to drink. I'd also get him a dog water fountain. It will provide a continual source of fresh water, and may encourage him to drink. I hope this helps!

Young puppies often don't drink that much water. That isn't abnormal. Their kidneys are functioning well and their urine will be concentrated. The only downside to not drinking a lot of water and having concentrated urine is damage to your lawn if you have one. If it really concerns you, adding water to the dry kibble and letting is soak for a few minutes before offering the whole soupy mess, is an easy way to get them to take in more water. I'll warn you though, puppies can't hold their bladders long, so more water can mean more accidents if you don't watch closely. I hope this helps.

Congrats on the new puppy. If you are feeding Any type of canned food or watering down their dog food then he may not feel the need to drink much water. If you aren't doing these things, then you may want to try to add in some water to his food to help him drink more. Since he is normal otherwise then I wouldn't be too concerned. But keep a close eye on him and if he gets worse, contact your vet for an exam.
