My wheaten terrier has skin sores. Is it allergies despite Apoquel?

My 3 year old wheaten terrier gets sore on her could it be allergies She is on Apoqual and I put fish oil on her food

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Shelby. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian. The sores are likely secondary to her allergic skin disease. She will require treatment. Depending on if the skin is infected, antibiotics may be necessary. She could also be prescribed a medicated shampoo and conditioner to cleanse and soothe the skin. Place an E-collar on her to prevent any licking or scratching if necessary. I hope this information helps!
