Is it safe to give my new kitten old URI medicine from another cat?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered

I got a kitten a few months ago who had a URI. I just got another kitten with the same problem, is it okay if I use the same medicine I gave my previous cat to my new cat?

Unfortunately no, that's not safe to do. Each kitten has to evaluated to be certain that a specific medication is safe for it. You will need to take your new kitten into the vet to get treated. Best of luck.
