Found bumps on my puppy's chest and legs. Should I see a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Vizsla | Male | neutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 52 lbs

I was petting my puppy, Copper. I felt a bump on his chest. Upon inspection I see what looks like a raised bump about a nickel to a quarter in size. I checked him out and saw two more. On on the inside hind leg. One in the inside front leg. I’ve attached pictures. Should I see a vet or should I wait and see if they change any before making an appt.

It is always best to have a vet check out any new lumps/bumps on your dog. I don't think it is an emergency but I would have him examined in the next day or so. In the meantime you could apply this spray to the bumps 2-3x per day. ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/vetericyn-plus-hot-spot-antimicrobial-gel-for-dogs ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.
