Kitten's declaw stitch popped. How to protect wound until vet?

One of our kittens (7 month male) popped a declaw stitch and it opened a hole that bled. It stopped bleeding, but we’re worried about him getting debris in the wound. What can we do to protect the area until the vet’s office is open again? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 7 months and 3 days old | 7 lbs
