My cat's neck has hair loss and red, watery skin. What should I do?

Hi yesterday i noticed that my cat was losing hair from the back of his neck and today the hairless patch grew... also now im noticing red marks which seem watery ... i made an appointment with the vet for tomorrow but i am really worried... can you maybe give me some advice? She seems to be acting normal , she is eating and playing but i am still worried. Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | spayed

Poor Tora! This hair loss could be due to a skin or fungal infection, fleas, mites, allergies, or endocrine disorder. Having her seen by a vet tomorrow is a good idea, as the vet can diagnose the cause and can treat her. Best of luck.
