My senior Maltese is wobbly and squinting. Is it a neurological issue?

Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | neutered | 9 years and 1 month old | 11 lbs

Male Maltese 9YO, Neut, on 9/14/15 diag w/ HornerDis R Eye.Give Tacrolimus Drops 3x week. Also Dry Eyes both, no extra drops. HypoThyroidsm Diag 6/24/16. on .2mg Soloxine daily. Woke up 12/16/18 squinting both eyes and a little wobbly. Every day a little wobbly in AM and squinting, sleep all day. Went to EYE vet FRi, thorough check, gave salve neopolydex & new bottle of Tacro. Today woke still squint and wobbly, better now at 12pm, but VERY concerned it's something else? Neuro? Tumor?

I agree with you. Sounds possibly neurological which could be due to a tumor. I suggest you have Scrappy examined by a neurologist. I suggest you use your phone to videotape his abnormal behavior as many pets get a burst of adrenaline heading into a vet hospital and then the symptoms are not as obvious.
