My baby guinea pig is weak, won't get up, and just lies on the floor.

Hi This is Domenic Taranto and we have brought a Guinea Pig from a seller and about 2 months later she gave birth to 2 beautiful little Guinea Pigs. They both looked healthy until one of them kept on lying on the floor and wouldn't get up. About 2 occasions he got up but he seemed weak and kept on falling over. Now he just lays on the floor kicking its legs. The mother tries to nurture it but the baby Guinea pig is just too weak and wont get up. I need some advice on what to do.

Thanks for reaching out but you need to take her to the veterinarian. Not sure if this is a back injury or a systemic illness. Try to observe to determine if Pancake is actually nursing or just going through the motions. Babies are very delicate so a vet visit is recommended as soon as possible. Good luck.
