My pet's poop is watery/diarrhoea. She is fed properly cooked white rice and thoroughly cooked chicken with no added spice or salt from when I just got her about two to three days ago. Because of lack of calcium in the diet, she was fed soya milk. However, when I mop her faeces, I use strong bleach solution and she bites and plays with the mop as I clean. What could be the cause of the watery/diarrhoea poop? - please view attached photos.

Hi, and thanks for your question. These signs could be compatible with an inflammation infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics and possibly further investigations (like abdominal imaging as ultrasound or radiographs) may be needed. Watery diarrhea is concerning with a puppy, because they can quickly become dehydrated. It's best to have her seen by a vet soon to prevent this. If the mop has a floor cleaning agent in it, then this could be the cause of the diarrhea. Otherwise, I would be worried about an infection. Puppies can get some rather severe infections, so it would be best to have her seen by a vet in the next 24 hours. Below is a link to more information that may be helpful. https://mobile.petcoach.co/amp/article/diarrhea-vomiting-in-dogs-when-to-call-your-veterinarian For now, make sure she has plenty of water and you can add Pedialyte or other oral rehydration salts to her water to help keep her hydrated. I hope that helps and Blue gets better soon.
