Cat threw up spaghetti-like. Gave meds, but no worms in stool. Working?

Cat threw up spaghetti like substance the other day we gave it round worm meds but i dont see any worms in its stool. R the meds not working?

Sometimes the worms die and just come out like mucus in the stool, not full worms. If you gave the proper dose I’m sure it was effective.
