My dog is limping. Is it from the deep cut near his testicles?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 11 months old | 55 lbs

My 11 month old bulldog/pitbull mix has been limping the last few days. It has gotten progessivley worse and I plan on taking him to the vet tomorrow. He shows no signs of pain when I touch or rub any of his legs. However, I just discovered tonight that he has a pretty deep cut where his testicles attach. Could this be why he is limping?

If the limp is on this side then yes it could be the reason for the limping. your vet will also check the leg properly to make sure the limping is not from the leg or hip and he will of course treat this cut as well.
