My puppy has giardia and won't eat. How to get her appetite back?

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 12 days old | 32 lbs

My puppy has been diagnosed with giardia its his 3rd day of treatment she doesnt have diarrhea anymore but she lost her appetite can you recommend any vitamins or anything to get her appetite back...

There aren’t any vitamin supplements that I’m aware of that would improve appetite after giardia. You could try offering canned dog food or plain boiled chicken breast with white rice as long as Luna doesn’t have any food sensitivities. If Luna has vomited or is her appetite doesn’t return in the next 24 hours it would be a good idea to recheck with your vet to make sure there is nothing else going on.

    2 cups per day sounds like a lot of food for a 7 pound puppy! My 16 pound dog gets 2 cups per day. As long as Kai is growing as expected and isn't emaciated, I suspect he is getting enough nutrition. But, yes, Giardia can affect their appetite.
