Me and my wife went to work this morning and our cat Mara was fine her face looked normal. When we came home we noticed it was very swollen. She seems to be fine and playing as normal but it just looks awful. We’re taking her to vet in the morning they are all closed now. Just wondering what it could be

Poor Mara! It could be she was injured while you were gone, she could be experiencing an allergic reaction, or she could have a dental problem. In the second picture, it looks like there is a cloudiness in her left eye. That has to be checked out by a vet if it hasn't already. Get her into a vet as soon as possible. Best of luck.
