Can 9-week Rottweiler pups socialize after 2 shots, considering parvo?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | unneutered | 13 lbs

I have 2, 9 week old rottie pups. They have had their first 2 sets of shots. Is it safe to take them to my aunts to socialize with older dogs that are up to date on vaccines, Since rotts are more susceptible parvo? Or should I wait til they have the full parvo series

Theoretically it would be safe, however your aunt's dogs walk around outside and could bring parvovirus into the house without being affected themselves. Therefore I would wait until at least 2 weeks after the third set of vaccines. Better safe than sorry.
