My dog has roundworms. Can I give Heartgard Plus and Nemex 2?

My dog has round worm. I just gave him heart guard plus. Can or should I also give him a dose of Nemex 2? Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 27 days old | 20 lbs

Heartguard Plus also controls roundworms and hookworms, so there is no need to give the Nemex 2 now. However you should give your puppy Nemex in about two to three weeks in order to hit the worms that hatch from the eggs the Heartguard did not catch.
