My dog has a red ear rash for 2 weeks, but isn't bothered. Vet?

My pup has a red rash mark on the inside if his left ear. His right ear is completely clear. He doesn’t appear bothered by it, isn’t itching it or anything. It has been there for approximately two weeks. Should I take him in? What do you think it is? Will it go away on its own? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 23 days old | 50 lbs
