Puppy threw up brown liquid, breathing strange. Could it be slugs?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 4 days old | 20 lbs

Hi my small 8 week poodle had thrown up Brown liquid and breathing very strange not his usual self very to him self and happen to find two large harden slugs in their feeding bowl he might have taken a bite one could this have caused him to be upset ?? Please assist

I am not sure if you have toxic slugs in South Africa, so this would be something to ask your veterinarian. Brown liquid can be a sign of a gastric infection, so I strongly recommend you take Basil to a veterinarian for an exam. He may have a serious gastrointestinal condition such as an infection.
