My dog ate cough drops with pectin. Is it dangerous or toxic for her?

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 4 years and 8 months old | 32 lbs

please help, my dog just ate a pack of cough drops with Pectin as the active ingredient. Other ingredients are beta carotene, citric acid, FD&C blue, FD&C Red 40, flavors, glucose syrup, lactic acid, malic acid, potassium citrate, sodium chloride, soy lecithin, and titanium dioxide.

Your dog should not ha ve any problems with this, as there are no toxic ingredients in these drops. At worst Annie may get diarrhea because it is not something her intestines are used do. You do not have to worry. Pectin is actually an ingredient used to stop diarrhea.
