Puppy with giardia: How long until bloody stool stops on meds?

My 2 months old puppy was diagnosed with giardiasis she was given metrodinazole its second day of treatment and she still has bloody stool..When will the bloody stool from my puppy dissappear.. Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 11 days old | 32 lbs

I usually recommend follow up if the blood in the diarrhea has not resolved in 48 hours, or if there are any new symptoms like vomiting or a decrease in appetite. It can take several days for the diarrhea to resolve completely. If you are still seeing blood tomorrow you should contact your vet.
