Puppy with giardia: How long until bloody stool stops on meds?

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 11 days old | 32 lbs

My 2 months old puppy was diagnosed with giardiasis she was given metrodinazole its second day of treatment and she still has bloody stool..When will the bloody stool from my puppy dissappear..

I usually recommend follow up if the blood in the diarrhea has not resolved in 48 hours, or if there are any new symptoms like vomiting or a decrease in appetite. It can take several days for the diarrhea to resolve completely. If you are still seeing blood tomorrow you should contact your vet.
