I am getting a Shih Tzu 10 week old female in January. She will weigh approx. 10 Ibs. when grown. 1. Should I potty train her to go inside on pads until she gets older (with it being winter), I live in B'ham., Al. 2) How old should she be to be spade? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 7 days old | 5 lbs

I recommend not potty training her for inside, she can go outside 2-3 times a day even if it's only for short walks, it's important for her to be able to walk and access the outside world. i recommend having her spayed at the age of 6 months.
