Are brown spots on my 5-month-old kittens' gums normal or concerning?

I recently discovered some brown spots and bumps on my two 5-month-old kittens' gums. They don't seem to be bothered by them at all and they're eating completely normally. They've also only lived with us about 2 months and I don't remember if these were there before. One cat has it on both sides of his gum and the other has only one side. I've attached one photo of the brown gum and one photo of the (only) healthy side of the gum. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 6 lbs
