My cockatiel is losing weight, sleepy, and fluffed. What's wrong?

My cockatiel TAKA is sick now. He reduces weight from 85g to 65g within several months. He is now sleepy, fluffy feathers, less active, less vocal, seems weak. But he is still eating normally and regularly. Since there is no avian vet or any vet for birds here in my country, please help me. I started amoxicillin 2 days ago. (10mg per oral, b.d). Any further management suggested? I feed him Roudybush daily maintenance everyday. But he likes rice, corn when he see we are eating. Pet's info: Bird | Cockatiel | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 11 months old | 0.19 lbs

Thanks for reaching out about Taka and including photos. That is a significant weight loss (20-25%), and infectious or metabolic disorders are a consideration. Amoxicillin might help but is aimed at more gram positive bacteria such as staphylococcus or streptococcus, and not bacteria such as e coli or salmonella. Prescribing or suggesting a medication is not allowed on this website. Seeking the advise of a local veterinarian is recommended. Good luck.
