My pet died suddenly. How do I cope with the grief and guilt?

Hello again, i lost my baby. I need help. Today is the second day at home without him.I am so bad, i cant face the reality abd accept he is gone. The the vet told me to went to home for 2 hours and after 1 hour he called me and told me the worst thing in my life. I kissed and hug him before i left,but i thought he would came back home.Why i left my baby alone to die with a stranger. Why i wasnt there to give him strength and not to be scared like i always did. Oh my good im lost in pain. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 11 years and 7 months old | 10 lbs

Can you call a friend or family member to come and be with you? I'm concerned about your state of mind, and think you need something there with you. I am so very sorry you lost Kamilo so suddenly, but I'm sure that he was very loved and had a great life with you. Please call someone to come and sit with you.
