My cat has a cold. What can I do to help them feel better at home?

Two of my four cats contracted a little bit of a cold. What can I administer them?

You could try to put them in a small bathroom with the hot shower running. It is best if they will let you hold them since steam rises. The steam will help to break up with mucus. Also, you can try Benadryl in case there is an allergy component. See link below. Finally, if this isn't helping or they aren't eating/drinking, or lethargic, I would have your vet take a look at them as they may need an antibiotic to help clear it up. I hope this helps!

    You start them on benadryl to help with any allergy component. See link below. Also if they are really congested and they will tolerate it, you can hold each of them in a small bathroom with the shower running so they can breathe in the steam. This will work as a humidifier and help to break up the mucus. If they won't tolerate this, you could just put them in a room with a humidifier.
