My dog's eye is cloudy. What could be wrong and when to see a vet?

My 1 year old Labrador's left eye looks a bit cloudy since this morning, the other one is fine. He doesn't seem to have any fever. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 7 months old | 68 lbs

This could be due to an eye injury or conditions such as a corneal laceration, corneal ulcer, conjunctivitis, among many other conditions.
