My hamster has no signs of overgrown teeth or cheek abscesses. he does not appear to be in any pain and is eating normally... Why is he drooling so much?

Thanks for reaching out about Dexter. Dental disease can be in the form of a loose premolar/molar or small abscess, that are difficult to visualize. Other diseases that cause hyper-salivation such as pain may manifest in similar signs. A visit to the veterinarian is needed, and analgesia might improve things. Good luck.
