Should my cat sleep in my room at night if she seems happy elsewhere?

Should I have my cat with me in my room at night? She seems perfectly happy not being in my room but because she’s my first pet I worry I’m not spending enough time with her.

I think cats are kinda a go where they like pet... they like the choice to sleep with you or not. Many will cuddle for awhile or sleep by your feet, but they like to come and go as they please. You can spend quality time playing before bed of you need to get some more kitten time in!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is really up to you. I personally like to let my dogs in my room but if you prefer not to that is ok. If you would like to have your pup in the room then that would be ok too. Best of luck!
